Training on youth leadership and community development held in Bhaderwah | KNO

Three -day training on ‘youth leadership and community development’ was organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India here today at Sungli resort Bhaderwah . The inaugural programme was graced by district Coordinator NYK Doda Nissar Azad as the special guest. He encouraged the young leader participants quoting; “It is our attitude not our altitude that determines the heights of altitude” and asked them to adopt the 3C’S (Challenges, Choices and Consequences) in life for a constructive and positive contribution in the society.Resource persons for the workshop and special invitees were ASP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh , SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma , Journalist Mohd Majid Malik and president Youth Action Committee Naseer Mehboob . Intensive sessions were conducted during the training on various topics such as leadership-the concept, qualities, styles, skills, roles and responsibilities, good citizenship – civic manners and respect for ethics and values, life skills, communication skills-how to interact with people and make speech and personality development. While speaking on the programme, Coordinator NYK Doda Nissar Azad highlighted that the NYK is working for public welfare through voluntary services has been conducting various social and capacity building training in the past years , he deliberated upon the aims and objectives of the training and emphasize for a leadership training and community development for an overall development in the society, he expressed the importance of such training and workshop and desired that the young leaders trained in the workshop should disseminate the knowledge to their respective place gathered in this training for a positive community development in the society.Giving a detailed course of social view of NYK , ASP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh said that how it is grooming the talent of youths.. He said that if you want to achieve exemplary field in life ,NYK is the right platform to polish hidden talent and will give right push up in setting goals as per dreams. The training programme was attended by one hundred participants from different villages of Doda , Bhaderwah , Gundoh , Thatri , Khara and Assar .
